Crescent moon and the lavender sky,
Blissful auro and a hollow Goodbye!
Leaving a love so sweet and tender,
It often makes me wonder why!
I'm the one who always has to leave,
But I can't even cry!
For he's the "one" for me,
But not even mine!
I want him anyways
This is a fact I cannot deny!
He holds a place so pivotal, so high!
Nobody can come even close to him,
So don't even try!
For I'm good to everyone but for him
I can even die...

She roamed around
And all she saw
Was a world of dead
It made her awe
Where happiness and success
Were only equivalent
To wealth and riches
Where every generation
Blamed the other as wicked
The elders thought they knew it all
Because they had seen life for a couple more
While the Youngs were trapped in a dark plight
That didn't fade with the rising sun's light
Searching for peace among the deads
While they completely forget
That a heart beats in their chests
And as she walked by
She wondered why
When they had all they wanted around
Why then did they always have a frown
Her life answered all her doubts
As she heard it speak out loud
It is because they think
That all they need is matter
But deep down all they want
Is to really matter

Drowning in the shadows
I asked myself
wheather the darkness is of the night
Or my hollow core?
I don't even know myself anymore.

In a frame made of straws
Can there be a spine?
Behind the subtle smile
Am I truly fine?

In a room full of rights and wrongs
Can I be my own thing?
Betwixt the death's kingdoms
Is there a space worth living?

A few sparkling faces from the cosmos
Peeked through my window
Pierced my sins and shattered the ego.
Touched me with a light of redemption
And whispered - let go.

My eyes will search its meadows,
My heart will feel its songs,
My mind will see its beauty,
My soul accepts his shadow,
If nowhere was a place,
I would name it...

What is the beginning of an endless sea?

A restlessness that steeps inside,
making the stomach feel hollow,
eyelids are dropping with fatigue,
eyes are sleepless though,
hypnotized by the darkness,
steps taken too far,
only respite is to be pulled back,
but, being watched from afar.
The realisation is gut wrenching,
I am unheard.

जहर पीना हंस कर आ जाता है

कैसे जगा मैं, रात में चौंक कर

जुर्म कहो या सजा, ये नसीब मेरा
दिल लगा, सराय पहुंच, अब ये घर लगता है।

हर बार टूट कर, यही बोलता हूं मैं
ये ज़ख्म कितना नया, कितना गहरा लगता हैं।
