The age - spotted Room walls of mine
Now sparkles in the sun
With their dark freckles
Forgetting the time's cruel Clownery...-
Do you see a horse right there?
Oh! I see a notebook.
No. It's a tiger.
I hear children talking loud, looking at the night sky,
Guessing the pattern of those stars.
I turn and look at her,
I see her freckles. "constellations, my foot!" I think and smile.
She laughs at me and I see a heart on her cheeks.-
I will write about
the freckles on
your face and
the way they
make you
beautiful while
you're dancing
in the rain and
expect you
to do the same
in return :)
-
You know?
You did it, you took my breath away.
Never ever I thought somebody's touch would do so much to me.-
The freckles on your
cheeks remind me
of those scars
which moon posses.
I could witness
three moons in this night of
flickering moonlight-
I pinch your
freckles yearning
to dust them in
my coffee
and get intoxicated-
There's a magic in the night sky,
Casting spell all over us,
Making us fall in love with the moon,
Making us fall for its freckles.
There's some magic in the night sky,
For the stars appear to be a cozy bed,
And on some nights, the clouds be the blankets of warmth,
And on some nights, the clouds do fade.-
Deep beneath the web of wrinkled lines
And freckles spanning the face
Lies a soul that has mastered
The art of battling the woes
And disastrous circumstances
Sprung by the profound race of life
Yet not a tear to be seen within
The wandering eyes...
The sunken space between the contours
Of the jawline and cheekbones
Are a testimony of someone
Ready to face the world, while
Parallel to the laugh lines lie the wrinkles
Etched on the face and forehead
A sanctuary of bygone eras;
The face tells it all...
Yes, The Face tells it all!-
The sparkly stars look like
freckles on my grandma's skin
That she used to ask me to count
until I fell asleep.
Now I look at the naked sky
Drunk on midnight blue
Wishing I'd string all the stars
To feel the warmth of her freckled skin.
