The simplest of days, can be surprisingly peaceful,
You don't even know what you need, but God does.
Just Thankful and grateful for the wonders of life.

I left writing, I was immersed in thinking,
In believing it was all true, What I was perceiving,
Then your shadow disappeared, When it was dark,
And again I was left with writing about you.

Right when you thought what could go wrong,
All of it goes wrong..
Things change so quickly in such entirety that you cannot fathom the consequences,
So you sit back and wait for time to pass by,
Patience and faith are now tested, but hey you got to drink this poison and well you have a lot other distractions..

Almost forgot the reality, we're too good to be true, and, you are old fine wine.

Bliss, in the morning air, it's rare,
Lost in the afternoon waves, leaves you doubting, was it ever there?

It's not a thing, it's a feeling, like love.
Once it's lost you cannot trace it back.
You cry, you break and question your sanity,
All for nothing, cause it's simply rare.

भारी रात है, फिर भी कट जाएगी,
कल फिर नयी सुबह आएगी,
नए चेहरो से मुलाक़ात करवाएगी,
ऐसे ही हँसते खेलते जिंदगी निकल जाएगी |

Your hair, your smile, your slender height,
I've surely been compromised.
Writing another deadly storyline, this time a newer perspective cause I'm not naive.
Nobody will know, not even you, because this won't last long and hell! It's anything but divine.

I had a dream again, when we were together,
But this time when I woke up, it wasn't over,
I am sure of this, I am sober,
It's reality in which we are together.

आदतें बिगाड़ कर अब खुद बिगड़ रहे है,
और हम बरबस आपके इशारों पर चल रहे है |

जनाब के मिजाज़ कुछ तंग से है,
कहीं ये दूरी उनको भी तो सताती नहीं |

जैसे हम बेचैन यहाँ इन्तेजार में तड़पते है,
कहीं वो भी तो एक झलक को तरसते नहीं |
