My fingers have grown numb
And can't reach the place where,
My mind has wandered off to,
And my heart grew
weary of the wait.

The words have stopped flowing,
The fire inside of me quenched.
My pen grew heavy,
And my heart grew
weary of the burden.

अब कहाँ हमें किसी हमदम का प्यार चाहिए
बस जनाज़े में लिपटी हुई सांसों की रफ़्तार चाहिए

आज से तो मेरा कल बेहतर होगा

इस माहौल में थोड़ी गमगीन ही हूँ
फ़िर भी मैं लगती हसीन ही हूँ
