Your smiling facade,
Means "either-or"--
Either you're happy,
Or you're sad.
I wonder what,
I make you feel.
I hope not the latter;
But the former.-
My smile
Isn't an
Indication,
Of absolute
Jouissance
And serenity--
It's more of
A coping
Mechanism--
A pointed mark
Of fighting,
This damnable
Pain.-
In the end
what you see is
a facade,
I wish I could smile
and I wish all the more
that you could tell
someday if it is
genuine or
not.

Mr. Bond√√-
Beauteous eyes of a most brilliant shine;
Supple lips of dripping scarlet smiles;
Tinkling gradations of a soothing lullaby;
Yet with a heart, now weary and numb.
Still, everyone pretends that she's doing fine;
Simply because she prefers to remain mum.-
...and the thing is,
both of them are
out of lies to love
each other.-
The girl, who was
So intelligent;
That she was
The highest in exams;
Seemed, also,
The prettiest, in class.
A lot liked her;
Yet, a lot envied her, too.
So, everything she did,
Was highlighted--
Especially, her mistakes.
What they couldn't
Understand was:
Why did she appear so lucky?
She was, always, smiling!
No one cared to look,
Deeper, into her eyes.
The girl, that everyone
Deemed gifted, didn't
Have it all.
In fact, she had
A terrible life,
At home.-
I watch the sun
Rays of hope serenely sweet
A facade that will reveal itself
With the brightness retreating
I am left barren
As I witness the grey setting in
One shade more and one ray less.

The heart that always smiles, readily;
Doesn't mean it's constantly happy.
The heart that cries, consistently;
Doesn't mean it's incessantly lonely.
The facade doesn't tell you anything.
Technology can change so many things.
As we get more into modernity,
To look beyond the swathe is pertinent.
Because, the core--the soul doesn't lie.
Whatever it holds so dear, will show.
Whichever it holds less, shall also be known.
Not everyone can hide themselves, forever.-
