and now your two favourite eyes have

Although, I won't be physically around,
I would probably be looking down at you

the laughs, the talks, the cuddles

With all the pain inside, she loved,

we spent the whole last year together
we shared the best laughs, smiles, and memories
in pain and hard times were both around to gather.

the energy you passed down,
never wasted but always reciprocated.
stood with you in good and bad, I never let you down.
I hope you always felt supported.

Here I am,
numb-hearted and tear dry but still holding flowers.
Traces of the beast within I hope to tame.
but good memories tinged with darkness unveil as you confront
boldly and I begin to cower...

I'm not proud to have lost you,
But,
every day testifies that I gained a better reflection of myself.
every wound and scar, I proudly wear like tattoos.

How so unlucky could I be?
we were the same person but yet so different.

An Eulogy To Self

Dear Barry,
You have been an amazing soul, who has fought with all the atrocities bravely with a lot of courage and valour, you fought for what's right and justified and what's not. I've seen you consuming 585 grams of antidepressants, how you've backed yourself, motivated yourself to fight for every bit that you could and I've seen how you have been mentally drowned and how your mental health took a back seat. I've seen you how hurt you have been because of people and circumstances. It's deeply heartbreaking to see you depart in such a heartbreaking way, but the days you have lived, especially the way you lived in last 3-4 years of your life and the achievements you have got under your belt, I bet hardly someone would ever get that life, that reputation, that name and fame you earned hardly someone would ever earn in their lifetime, and I also bet, hardly there would be someone who would be able to face and withstand the atrocities like you did, Kudos to you. What you left behind is only some happy and cute memories to long and live for, we will miss you forever and ever. Rest in peace my dear enthusiastic soul.
