My favorite 2016 moment was, when I realised I could quit you and could get off our great deluded love.

Had you truly loved, had you cared,
you wouldn't have done this to me and mine of all the people in the world!
Your concern is vested in business alone,
Everything you give is measured in terms of returns...
And for you, love sells dirt cheap, doesn't it?
I was the one who deluded myself all along.
How could I have expected flowers to bloom on a non-flowering fern?
Is it not darn stupid of me to think you loved me !

Indulgence in gluttony
only leads to further hunger.
We must build good habits now;
we're not getting any younger.
Every second that passes
is pretty much gone forever.
Some of us are sleepwalking
and have yet to wake up ever.
We are living in a dream world
even if we appear to be awake;
chasing after status symbols
even though the real ones are also fake.
I'm not suggesting that we shouldn't eat
or make copious amounts of paper,
but there's a difference between having bread
and living life as a paper chaser.
