कर्म कर और जिये जा,
कभी अपने वास्ते, कभी दूजे के
लिए सद्कर्म किये जा !
रुकना जरा मना है
थकना जरा मना है
रफ़्तार की गस्त लेके,
बस आगे बढे जा
कर्म किये जा, और जिये जा,
चोट कहीं खाये , तो
दवा भी खुद ही किये जा,
मुस्किले -जहर को
हँस -हँस के पिए जा,
चला नहीं जमाना, कभी किसी के साथ
ज़माने के दिए गम को, अकेले लिए जा,
घुट -घुट के जीने से क्या फायदा ?
जिंदगी का लुफ्त, मज़े -मज़े में लिए जा
हार कर ना बैठ, तू, इस जहाँ में, मेरी इल्तजा,
मिट ना पाए तू ऐसा कोई, निशान दिए जा
कश्मकश में ना रह, पाने और खोने की
बेपरवाह होकर, तू आगे बढे जा
गुजारिश बस इतनी
के कर्म किये जा और और जिये जा !
