Let’s go back to the days when we thought the moon followed our car. How much we enjoyed going to the petrol pump just to smell the petrol! Those small tents we built using bed sheets and pillows. How desperately we ran to pick up the call every time the big fat phone rang. Let’s go back to the days when grandma stories were the best. Scaring people off from behind the doors. Remember those days when the only worry was school homework? Observing two ants walking together and pretending it was a race, secretly wishing your favourite one to win. We looked forward to the rains to jump in the muddy puddles and make paper boats to float in them. Let’s go back to the days when life was simple and we eagerly wanted to grow up. What were we thinking? Let’s be kids again! Can we?

Heart was a little less Broken
and my Skin a little less Scarred !!
For, it took a pretty good time
to silence that Cheerful Heart
I once had !!

But now that I have excelled the art of
choosing people for myself I do not
mind when people call me names...
They call me serious
they call me aloof !!

But only the ones that have alighted on
the Barrenness of my Heart and
watered the dried bones inside,
brought back a dying Child
inside of me to Live Again !

They call me names too !!
They call me little Monster ...
they call me Funny Bones !!
And I Love them all !!
