"MY ENCOUNTER WITH AN UNKNOWN"

CHAPTER 11

‎At first Pritak asked me to gather wooden-sticks that were present here and there in my front-garden. My front-garden was crowded with big trees and plants. I followed his instructions and was helping him with things he needed to show me what he had learnt. I watched him building a hollow-rectangular-box out of wooden-stick.
The hollow-rectangular-box built by him was covered by wooden-sticks on four sides(left, right, back and top) and bottom-side was closed by the ground-surface and it was opened at the front-side.
He then asked me to bring a matchsticks box, at that moment I was thinking he had gone mad because he had built it with so much effort now he was going to burn it down. Since I was restricted by him from questioning so I didn't asked him anything and silently brought a matchsticks box from the kitchen hiding it in my pant's pocket so that nobody could see it. I handed over the matchsticks box to him, then he picked up a wooden-stick and lighted it up by matchstick and put it at the centre of the hollow-rectangular-box through the frontal-opening.

Anu
Mitali studied hard and changed her life. None of her difficulties were able to stop her.
She chose the profession which would help her to teach many more girls who were like her. She encouraged everyone to study. She encouraged the girls to come to school and study and do something. She encouraged everyone to send their children to the school.
She became a teacher.

Now, here we are with our next character Anu who too did something in the world of nothing, just like Mitali and Rekha.

I sat down questioning Rathi with my eyes, as I try to communicate with him in silence. For next 5 minutes, none of us uttered a single word. The room was filled with silence and our deep breaths, when Pooja broke it questioning "Where is Sumit?"

Astonished about how does she know that I met Sumit, I angrily cross questioned Rathi, "Why did you lie to me? She seems fine! What's going on"... Pooja increasing her volume ramping down my further series of question again exclaimed "Where is Sumit?"

Getting my nerves bursting out, my senses just as if someone crushed down the lane, I picked the knife kept on the table and placed it right on the neck of Pooja. Proclaimed Rathi not to make any moves and tell me the truth, the real truth.

Seeing my agitation, provoked nature and seeing his wife in danger, he started murmuring; Remember I told you that one day Priya came to our house for the scripts, that actually happened...

Dad further added "I have always been into alcohol. There was nobody to stop me" My grandparents were rich but with that money my dad never got any love. Dad said " Your mother and I didn't get along due to my alcohol and her big ambitions. I don't give that fault to your mother. I had taken a decision that I wouldn't take money from my father and create my own world. My own small world. My wife did not support me at that time. We got separated. After that we never saw each other. And I hoped she would come along but she didn't. That led me in more alcohol. I am going to die because of that and it's ok. You should also get a clear picture of your life without me. You take of me better than my own mom ever did. I have been pampered by my daughter and i am proud to announce that. I will also die in your arms." We both were in tears. We could not hold within. We both cried till all sorrows were out. I decided make him live and to take care of him as he did of me when I was young. It was my turn to become my dad's dad. I discharged him from the hospital. I promised doctor to bring him for his regular treatment and assured him dad wouldn't have Whiskey ever again.

He walked till her apartment, bid her goodbye and wished her a good night. She did the same and went to her studio. She was in the bathroom when she missed his call. He might have had a very tiring day with the lawyers and his court date in pune and to top it all was that she was not taking his call. After she was fresh and ready to be on bed she saw his missed call. And immediately called back. He picked the call in a ring and asked her where she was and what was she doing in his absence in the city. She told him about Ravi and was over thrilled about the meet. He was on a low note as it was a difficult time in the court. He was not in the mood so he hung up quickly. She thought that may be, he was not happy because she was excited about her meet with Ravi. So she decided that she would not tell him any more about Ravi. Before she could sleep she got a message from Ravi saying that she should not babble in the night as she did for the school camp. Her smile came back to her face. He also re texted her saying that he hopes that in the morning she doesn't still fix her hair before getting out from her bed. She was shocked to read the text as that was what she did...

"Friendship"
After hearing that among two one is gonna lose their finger. This made Shalini see the other face of Ashwin. With anger, he got up and threw the glass vase on her, from the tea table which was in front of them.
Shalini escaped and said,"Ashwin calm down. Still your parents are under my eyes. I can still harm them. And you tried to hurt me. Let's make this even worst. You will cut the finger of one of your friends. Decide it, who's gonna give finger".
To this Mohan, asked her,"What the hell is wrong with you? Why you're doing this to us? He turned to Ashwin and said," Ashwin cut my finger and let this shit end". Anand interpreted and said, "No way cut my finger, I can handle my pain, but I can't see you both in pain". Mohan turned towards shalini and said,"we are not gonna do this, you harmed him once, not now".
She said, "Mohan think, what if your younger brother gets killed by a thief now, while finding something at your home. And Anand, what if your elder sister and her family dies in a car accident. I'm sure you want them to be safe. So do as I say". The trio understood that she is gonna harm them and end their bond.
