ले गयी तुम सारी हरियाली
दे गयी बस रातें काली
तुम ही मदारी, तुम ही तमाशा
तुम ही बजा रही थी ताली

पूरे शहर को तुमने तोड़ा
कहीं कुछ न तुमने छोड़ा
क्या जुर्म था मेरे शहर का
क्यों बरसायी उस पर कोड़ा
