Maybe the reason I love night
Is darkness doesn't let tears in sight
And the stars have just enough light
Not to be caught inside my own shadows void

She was always looking down
With a sadden little frown
She hung her head really low
She didn't notice the view of her window
She didn't notice the starshine
She couldn't see the millions of sunshines

The lonliness was so cold
Her tears were frozen into ice
They took the form of a snowflake mold
And atlas she saw a paradise
The snowflakes seemed like tiny little stars
The ones that she wishes on from afar
She is no longer alone, finally
Cause she has the stars to keep her afloat at sea

Don't look down below your feet
That's not where all the mini suns meet
The light you need is up above
Take the time to notice them, you'll fall in love
Not just with the night sky
But also the beauty of yourself hidden deep beneath those eyes
