Sometimes, life is about finding that "bunch of grapes", not getting to have it, seeing someone else grab it and have it on the way, but still believing firmly and saying aloud with a laughter that it would have been sweet!

about
accepting
the early departure!

full of honey and almonds
jingle like christmas bells
and trickle like brook;

Yet how they
bear words
that pierce like thorns
and bullets
into the softest
of human hearts!

Appa told me that in order to learn cycling, I must let go of my fear.
Ah! Something that I don't know, I mocked at him, silently. He added indirectly that love would do the trick. Quite skeptically, I wondered about the kind of difference it would make.
But, by the weekend, when I made it to the first lamp post without skidding, I knew that I was flying.

For fear,as I know now, has many eyes,
but love, as they say, is blind.
Or perhaps, willingly closes those eyes and
yet, is all enough to take care of itself!

that's what
everyone keeps doing,

that's what
someone says you to do,

you needn't do something because
that's what you are supposed to do,
trust me, there's nothing like that!

you needn't do something because
that seems easy
nor because that seems difficult.
Nope, nope,nope.

Of course, you can,
but the point is,
you needn't!— % &Instead, DO IT.
DO IT because you want to DO IT.

Do it because
that's what
every fiber of your being
yells you to do,
no matter
how small or how big
that seems to be,

do it because
that's what
the voice of your heart
hums to you
in your quiet time together

do it for you
and for nothing
and noone else,
mind you,
not even for this world.

For in the end,
we'd all walk away
and it'd just be
a matter of

People like them seem to be so sure of what they want. The ones who lead with grit. The ones who follow with grace. The ones who offer their gifts to the world. The ones who hold back their gifts from the world.

And then, there are people like us.
People like you and me who meet in the in betweens, not knowing what to do with our gifts.
People like us who are unsure whether to choose silence or words, love or no hurt.
People like you and me who are so unsure whether to hold on tight or to let go with ease.
People like us who'd go on wondering whether we are too concealed from the world or too much exposed to the skies!

On keeping a diary!

She'd heard and believed that
it were the dreams
and dreams only
that could make one
jump out of the bed every morn;

But, she has deciphered the secret now!

On some nights,
when the dreams made her
too tired and weak,
she would ask mom
in her sleepish, child like voice
about the breakfast next day;

For most days,
it was the simple thought
of a delicious food
that made one
look forward to life with joy.

I can see fairy lights everywhere.
Around lovely people, like a halo.
Within the rim of moments, like a pretty ornament.
Far away, on the edges of my dreams, dripping moonlight.
Almost everywhere, except in my past.

Every homecoming
flew by
planning of the ways
to get back safe;

every arrival back,
in
looking forward
to the next vacay!
