That could have claimed her life, long time ago.
Yet, there she stood.
"God protects!" That confession made
By one who knows the truth
Though she was struck, she is at rest.

Sore throat and countless sneezes
None of the medication actually eases
It would be easier catching the snitch
Than controlling the sneeze or the itch

Itching of the eyes and the nose
You don't if it's the dust or that damn rose
The scratches inflicted by you are more
Than the neighbor's cat who you abhor

Just when you want to take some rest
Arrives the pain of throat and chest
Atleast a drink gives you euphoria even if it is for a bit
But allergies just bring running nose or asthma as gift.
