सुबह सुबह पवन के फोन से आंखें खुली। एक एक शब्द सुलगता सा महसूस हुआ। सुबह की फ्लाइट से जाने की खबर ने, जैसे गर्मी को और भी गर्म कर दिया। 8.30 पर निकलने वाली फ्लाइट, अब कहा पहुंची होगी?
सिर्फ अनुमान ही लगा सकता हूँ। तुम अब शहर से मीलों दूर निकल चुकी होगी। मुझसे दूर बहुत दूर, मेरी कल्पनाओं में अलग अलग चित्र तैर रहे हैं। तुम यहाँ होगी, तुम वहां होगी। सिर्फ कल्पना के रंगों से तुम्हारी तस्वीर बना सकता हूँ। जो भी हुआ अच्छा या बुरा नहीं जानता। लेकिन तुम्हारे जाने के साथ ही तुमसे दूर होने का डर हमेशा के लिए ख़त्म हो गया। अब बिछड़ने के ख़ौफ़ से आज़ाद हूँ मैं। जाओ खुश रहो।
