-
grab a book
sniff. its smell is better than costly perfume
gently turn the pages
absorb every detail
let the book capture your heart and soul
fall into a book
allow eyes to cry with the characters
let it be. it's not easy to move on
eat, drink every word
little by little, finish the book
hold a moment of silence
as all good books deserve an appreciation-
Day 2 of 21
21 or Less
It takes twenty-one days to form a habit
Or break one -
Like opening the door,
Making plans,
Shaking hands,
Eating out,
Hugging friends,
Walking on the street,
Breathing.
Less so, perhaps, for the dead.-
Day 3 of 21
All the World's a Stage
This is my stage - this room and the next,
This balcony, this shelf full of books.
The light will be on for eighteen more days.
Act natural, I tell myself, the world is your audience.
Be the character you would like to be remembered for.
(please read caption for the entire poem)-
There is something that drags me to you at night
With you everything is good, even an argue at night.
When the world is weaving colorful dreams
I love to get covered in your hue at night.
I often wonder at the beauty of my delusion
How every lie sounds pretty and true at night.
What relief do you get in momentary reverie, oh Hina
You know how every time pain becomes anew at night.-
