We must End Sars
Bcos anytime the see us in our cars
Or drinking in bars
They start to inflict on us Scars
Forgetting we are stars
And this generation is ours.-
Chosen
Our pages may have been ripped off
And our pathway becomes rough.
Still, we shall march on
To a land we belong!
With binded lips,
Our courage shall never slip.
From a distance, our voices will be heard out loud,
Even up to the cloud.
On bended knees,
We shall stand tall as tress
We are the embodiment of freedom fighters
Because our lives matter
Sticks and stones may be thrown at us
We only believe in one cause,
"We move forward"
That's how we've been cultured.
We are the chosen!

A WEEPING SOUL
One nation bond in freedom?
We have been deserted and now in ruins
Everywhere we turn darkness looms
Our life is hopeless, thanks to them
If we ended it now would they care?
We cry we shout
But got no answer
Who shall harken to our call
Who shall dry our tears
We have been deceived
They preach to make us better
But are being slaughtered in the gutter
Arise o striving nation
Fight like a Lion
No one will clean your tears but you
Our soul weeps
Love has bin shredded off our hearts
Who shall come to our rescue
We served you with love and strength
Yet we are tormented with belt
Our tears shall dry
heartache ceased
but yet countless more caused.
Striving not to die
A reason to try
A flicker of light
And surviving the fight
A weeping soul-
Dear Nigeria,
This momentary turmoil and travails
will soon pass, and peace will prevail.
Weeping may endure for a night,
joy looms, with love and light...-
Kindly resist the slavery mentality to want to go back to Egypt when your prayer for a promise land is being answered.
-
I don't want to die young,
not by being killed by a rogue.
I have not done anything wrong
by living my best life - in vogue.-
Revolution and restoration can only
be achieved by a generation that
values the principles of integration, aggregation and penetration over
competition and recognition.-
On this quiet street with our old ghost
Poverty and suffering is our daily meal
the uncos are nursing on our mother’s milk
we children feeding on our tears
the few idiots placed to guard us turned
into feral animals in our abode.
Today I’m saddened and sickened
as darkness dethrone the voice of our youths
genocide invaded our nation
as this beast dominates the innocuous
Nigeria became an abattoir
our youth were been massacred
for demanding our birth-right
peace turns to conflict,
our weapon turned back on us
our government failed us
became our genocidal
while the impuissant are defending the fallen
the high-octane are ineffectual
On this day (20/10/20)
Nigeria 🇳🇬 bleeds
~Chiquita Jefa~-
Today we gather together to light the candles
Of souls fallen
We lit the candles in one Accord
Sorrows in our heart
And grief in the atmosphere
We lost good ones
Sons and daughters of the last generation
Fallen to the evil of a corrupt society
My brothers weep
My sisters weep
Aluta continua
They might have fallen
But they never fell in vain
Their falls brought to rise a generation
Of Accord
A generation who were once silent
A generation no longer divided
A generation United in strength
Today we light the candles
not just for the fallen soldiers
But for the hope of a better tomorrow
A tommorow when we shall speak
And our voices will be heard
A tomorrow when our society shall be purged of all ills
A tomorrow where my unborn child
Shall be free to roam the streets of Port Harcourt a free man
No longer in chains or cuffs
A tomorrow where we are truly liberated
