The colour of the skin or the inches of height,
When one is created, it's done alright.

Have you ever pondered who you criticise,
When you try your sarcasm on the kind of ones eyes.

How one speaks and the pitch of ones voice,
All is by default and out of ones choice.

There shouldn't be any comparison all are of their kind,
Each creation is unique you should keep this in mind.

The Creator has created us in the structure fine,
All things are wonderful whether yours or mine.

The rush on the roads and the crowd in markets,
Horrified are all by the growing number of caskets.

The rate of death round the world burgeoning,
Turned all noises into the silence deafening.

To come out of home nobody dares,
It's Corona outside, yeah everyone cares.

Forgotten is the joy when we used to be free,
Anywhere, anytime we could go with glee.

Prohibited were not the hugs and shaking of hands,
But now safety and security everyone demands.

I hope and pray good times come back soon,
O Lord please grant us only boon and boon.

जब साँस सुकूँ की दुनिया ने ली नर्म गरम से बिस्तर में,
आराम से नींदें पूरी कर लीं ठण्ड भरे दिसम्बर में।

ये अपने घरों से निकलीं और सरेआम बुलंद आवाज़ किया,
फिर इनकी हिम्मत जुर्रत पर है सारे जहाँ ने नाज़ किया।

कुर्बानियाँ देने में यहाँ हर हिन्दू मुस्लिम का हाथ रहा,
इसको आज़ाद कराने में सिख ईसाई भी साथ रहा।

अफ़सोस है कि क़ानून के बाद क़ानून बनाया जाता है,
क़ौमों को क़ौमों से लड़वा कर काम निकाला जाता है।

हर काम छोड़कर बहनों ने अपना ये फ़र्ज़ अंजाम दिया,
ये ज़ुल्म के ख़िलाफ़ हुईं खड़ी लोगों ने कई इलज़ाम दिया।

शाहीन बाग़ की कलियों ने है सड़कों को आबाद किया,
इन माँओं बहनों की हिम्मत को सारे जहाँ ने दाद दिया।

Afsos hai ki mujhse

Ban jaate hain hamraaz
banaate hain tamaasha,
Aise sukoon-e-dil ko
ghaarat kare hain log.

Apne khayaal ko hain
Wo lafz auron ke dete,
Kuch is tarah ki aksar
Sharaafat kare hain log.

Sabit jo ho gunaah to
ehsaan ki tarah,
Ho kar akad me choor
Nadaamat kare hain log.

Is there someone to heed to the scream,
My country is burning to the extreme.

The books in the shelves hieve a sigh,
The hands they dwelled in are beaten to die.

The students in colleges aren't safe from danger,
Harassed are the girls by every other stranger.

The King is felicitated with the powers high,
And the public below is forced to cry.

Save my country, Ah! Come on guys,
It's calling you now open your eyes.

Jahan bachpan guzara tha,
Wo aangan ghar ka pyara tha.
Muhabbat hi muhabbat thi,
Ajab dilkash nazara tha.

Kabhi bhai se nakhron ko
Uthwaate mai na thakti thi,
Kabhi aapa se kar ke wade
Un se mai na hat'ti thi.

Bahot pur amn thin sub-hen
Wo shaamen khoobsurat thin,
Mujhe jeene ki khatir han
Un lamhon ki zaroorat thi.

Wahan ek chheenk pr
Baba ki fikren jaag jati thin,
Wahan do thapkiyon se
Ma ki uljhan bhaag jati thi.

Mai apni khwahishon ke rukh
Sabhi ab mod aayi hun,
Bataoon meherban tumko
Mai wo ghar chordh aayi hun.

इस दहर-ए-तमाशा में दिखावे तो बहुत हैं,
कुछ अमन के किस्सों को हक़ीक़त से मिला दो।

हैं नफ़रतें तो जलवा-गर चार सू यहाँ,
जो ख़ास हैं उनको तो मुहब्बत का सिला दो।

बन कर हुजूम सड़कों पे क़ातिल है टहलता,
जो दर्स वो भूला है उसे याद दिला दो।

वो तहज़ीब को मग़रिब की आला हैं समझते,
तुम उनको जाम अपने सलीक़ों का पिला दो।

औरों से भला करने का क्या मतलब है शिकवा,
ख़ुद ऐसे बनो बातिल की हर जड़ को हिला दो।

ज़िद पर अपनी मंज़िल की जब मेहरबाँ वो अड़ गया,
उसकी फिर परवाज़ को ये आसमाँ कम पड़ गया।

कौन कहता है न उसका रास्ता दुशवार था,
हौसला था उसका जो कि हर पहर बेदार था।

Ho nahi tum wese jaise dunya tumko sochti hai,
Apni soch k dayere me hi dunya tumko khojti hai.

Pr mujhko lagta hai tumne gar ghalat kabhi kuch kiya nahi,
Q apni safaiyan pesh karo jab jaam-e-ghalazat piya nahi.

Tum khud tareekh palat kr dekho kab dunya jeene deti hai,
Jo iski nazar me aajaaye use maar k hi dam leti hai.

Par gham na karo gar log tumhe har bar zabar se zer karen,
Aur fikr ke nashtar aise chubhen ki tumhe zakhmi sa sher karen.

Tum apne sunkoon-e-qalb ki khatir aage badho unhe maaf karo,
Koi baat na dil se laga baitho tum apne raste saaf karo.

Phir tum mehsoos karoge apni choti choti khushiyan bhi,
Tumhare labon pe khilti rahengi musarraton ki kaliyan bhi.
