Freedom was the only hope,

When our nation was surviving through painful Time,

As then, even future was dim.


Some offered advices,

Some gave sacrifices,

And the Glory is taken.


They fought till the end,

Till there was freedom's scent.

Unity was there,

Manikarnika, symbol of women's resistance throughout the struggle for nation.

They led us to the victory,

Brought us freedom and glory.
