When your close ones die,
You not only loose them, you loose the part of you associated with them... the part which was never really yours and will never return. — % &

वो रंग कुछ और थे

वो एहसास कुछ और था
अब तो बस तेरी यादों में सुकून पा लिया करते हैं है...

कद्र करता हूं तेरी
झूठी ही सही फ़िक्र तू भी कर लिया कर
इबादत है तू मेरी
कभी बंदगी तू भी कर लिया कर
आता नहीं दर्द छुपाना मुझे
मेरे आंसूओं से यूँ खिलवाड़ मत किया कर
लिख दी है जो किताब वफा की शाही से मेने
कभी दो लफ़्ज़ तू भी पढ़ लिया कर

बिना कुछ कहे, डूबते सूरज कि तरह
हूबहू तेरी तरह
जानता हूं रोक सकता नहीं
बस आरज़ू है तो तेरे साथ ढल जाने की

लफ़्ज़ आते नहिं
दर्द जाता नहिं
कहने को ज़िंदा हूं मैं पर
ये सासें अब मेरी नहिं
क्यूँ पीयूं ये आंसू, मेेेै तेरे इंतजार में
अब सब्र और होता नहिं
रहम कर ऐ मोहब्बत
मेरा ये इश्क तेरा गुनहगार नहिं

who can take me through
on the journey to the moon
where, the bright red skies
share the auras of the ties
may the beginning or the end
it's the place where we reside
m still waiting for the person
who can make this poem alive.
