Some times the positioning goes wrong
Ideas are likely to

Get accepted if they are perceived as
1. Simple
2. Low Cost
3. Quick
4. Popular

Be avoided if they seem to be
1. Lengthy
2. Complicated
3. Expensive

It's just human nature. Exceptions do exist— % &
