When you're sad and feel a little low,
questions about well-being overflow.
While few do care about your battles,
most just ask for some tittle-tattle.

Don't let this weird world preach and teach you.
Don't let just anyone decide callously for you.

Don't follow blindly, apply your own mind.
Don't hold tight, let your dreams run wild.

Don't let the jealous, dull your bright shine.
Don't give them the power to judge and define.

Don't bother about what random people think.
Don't hesitate, just write and blurt out in ink.

Don't fear the failures, proudly own them.
Don't doubt my darling, you're truly a gem.

A morning walk

I get up in the morning overwhelmed by thoughts.
Off I go to morning walk, some solace I sought.

The red sun, up in the sky merrily welcomes me,
with golden rays which peek from behind the trees.

The chirpy birds sing happily from their core.
Sometimes, I ponder that what do they call for.

Adding to the beauty are dew drops on the leaves
Reflecting sun rays and shining like daydreams.

I come across some strangers juggling through hustle-bustle.
Trying to find their way out of the daily daunting tussle.

I walk back home with their intriguing and strange stories,
of happy hues, of silent cries and hard achieved glories.

Everyone will judge you through the biased lens of their preferences.

But, don't let them obscure what you learnt from your experiences.

Heaviest weight to carry,
is the weight of REGRET.
Before you get crushed beneath,
Forgive yourself and forget.

If you keep scratching the old wound,
it will keep bleeding sorrows abound.

We play so many diverse roles in the stories of people we meet on our journey.

Knowingly or unknowingly,

In some we are the hero, villain in some.
In some we are the funniest, serious in some.
Heartbreaker in some, healer in some.
In some we are clamorous, silent in some.
In some we are courageous, fearful in some.
Kind in some, cold-hearted in some.
In some we are lovable, hateful in some.
In some we are generous, miserly in some.
Sorted adult in some, carefree child in some.
In some we are diligent, idle in some.
In some were are adaptable, rigid in some.
Trustworthy in some, liar in some.
In some we are confidant, diffidant in some
In some we are honest, biased in some.
Extrovert in some, introvert in some.

None of the roles we play, is anywhere close to our original character.

Life is the movie with most number of plot-twists.
Make sure yours is the best and worth a watch.

February, you break many hearts.
And so, I genuinely hate you a lot.
May be that's why in retribution,
your dim dark days are cut short.

If you see everything through the glass of your thoughts, you will miss the beauty in imperfection and authenticity.

Also, when everything looks muddy, instead of fixing the world, try cleaning your glasses first as sometimes the dirt is on the glass itself.

Endings are always a beginning.

Beginning of something new.
New dreams.
New hopes.
New chapters.

And the first step towards moving forward is
to accept the situation as it is.
No ifs, no buts, no could haves and no would haves.

Things come to an END for a reason.
For some change with every changing season.
Time is precious and life is short.
Why to wait for closure of any sort.
You already stayed long, enough of mourn.
Come on darling, its time to move on.
Prioritise yourself,put yourself above.
No love is worth it, except SELF LOVE.
