Love doesn’t need to hide, it can relax and lie on your lap.

Stare you in the eye without a single word;

Pencil soft brushes with care over your silhouette, and admires

the lines around your mouth and soulful dancing mirrors.

Kiss you a thousand times without you even knowing it?

Love is not blind. No love sees the treasure…

Like gems hang from a humble tree,

who perhaps has nine hundred-ninety-nine flaws?

But a tender and kind, forgiving heart like yours.

Excuse us, do we know you? Some trees asked.

Nope, the talking fruit upon a humble tree said.

Are you a nut? Another joked and tried to gather a crowd.

Nope. However, I am unforgettable! Jolly the fruit said, I am known by my fruit, and heavenly is my taste? Indeed, those who know me are nuts about me? Some even envy me and others hate me for my eternal taste of awe?

Oh, we give up! Besides, what’s so incredible about your taste that all should desire your fruit? Please, reveal your fruity identity to us?

a cartoon figure thinks he's funny? Makes alcohol and late nights, his mistress and sobers up when he sees his wife's unrecognizable future face, whose powerful eyes beat the hell out of his little pounding cartoon head. Broken. Crisp and orange toasted! Tiny feet ran to his caring mother in the old age home, who shuts the door in his face and shouts. This is a scam, no doubt! I have no damn son! Go try your luck with someone else, you little crybaby.

grateful we should be for not living in the stone age?
I guess back then they slapped the folks with a stone to get an instant photo-shot? Just Imagine? Back then, the whole family rushed for a quick family ~ urgent ~ snap shots. I can already hear everyone begging to take the photo? Please? Pick me? Some with reason? And others just to avoid the cold nibbling pain crumbling into the mind with armed messengers wired into their nerve system.
I mean? Why would any wise individual choose to lie flat on their back for ten minutes or longer? Knocked out! While their grandma whispers, Pain for beauty, sunny boy. Hanging your missing tooth around your almost broken neck? I guess? Back then, only the brave took selfies?
Others laughed at their family member’s surprising new look. However, can we count our blessings? Today, it’s a simple, painless click and we can smile by erasing the unpolished shots as well. 😎
