और चूल्हे की वही तपिश, एक बार फिर मेरी माँ के रंग को जला गई...-

وہ جو کبھی اپنے گھر کی گڑیا تھی، اب ایک گھر کو سنبھال رہی ہے
وقت کی تیزی نے اُس کے چہرے پر جھریاں لکھ دی ہیں
لیکن جو بابا کے آنگن میں بے پرواہ تھی، اب ذمہ دار ہے
اُف، ہاتھ جل گیا!
بچپن کی یادوں نے روٹی پر دھیان نہ دینے دیا
