"Why? What do they do which I don't?" He looked up from his laptop, still figuring out where did this come from.

"Ummm... A lot of things. Like, they would do their shoelaces up if they are undone." 

"And what do you think I would do?" He asked putting his laptop aside.
"You'll let me wear it and see me trip over." She said bluntly and looked away while waiting for him to say otherwise.

He kept gaping at her in silence.

"Tell me, you'll catch me if I fall, atleast?" She added again while bringing her face closer to him.

And he burst into laughter.
"And if I can't do any of these two, then I'll walk while carrying you in my arms." He said while cupping her face in his hands and she grinned like a new bloom.💕

I took a deep breath and leaned back on my chair. Now I could see his arm right infront of me as he was sitting right beside me. He looked exquisitely dapper in his azure blue shirt, with neatly folded sleeves.
He was leaning forward and was nodding his head, time and again, as someone from the other side was talking about something.
I put my hands around his arm and rested my head on his shoulder. Suddenly, all the voices ceased to exist. I could only hear my own breathing and could only feel his heart beating at normal rate, somewhere near my hand. Gosh!... I so wish I could live my whole life right there, like that.

Soon he held my hand which were lingering near his chest and I remembered I already have him. I have him for the rest of my life. I might not be able to clinch his arm like this while sitting on this chair, till the end of the time, while blurring out all the noises of the world. But we'll definitely be listening to each other loud and clear, amidst all these noises.💕
