I wish I could capture every little thing,
No, not just humans or myself,

By everything I mean,
Every bird that rests for a while or flies away,
Every time there's thunder followed by a downpour,
Every leaf that moves to and fro with a sudden blow of wind;

By everything I mean,
Every emotion,
Every cloud,
Every sunset,
Every moonrise;

By everything I mean,
An elderly couple sitting beside each other on a bench just resting,
Every young couple enjoying their time together,
Every kid who smiles even after all the despair;

By everything I mean,
Every Rickshaw Wala who'd smile just because he's clicked,
Every Monument, every brick of it,
Every Bazaar that someday might cease to exist;

All I mean is,
I just wish I could click every moment,
For memories, maybe,
I am not sure,
Or maybe because they might not be the same the next time.

So, there is no way I could start better
And hence, lets explore my home first and teenage later
So, from the day I was born
I was told that home is the place you grow in,
The place where you feel loved and safe
But as I grew up, my home didn't feel safe,
Now my home seemed to appear with a signboard 'Danger'
I realized that it wasn't about the place but the people who were supposed to be safe,
So, with that, I lost my home!
But, in no time, did I find it again,
This time it was in a guy I had known since I was in 1st grade,
He was nice and funny and charming,
I mean, not really good looking but my prince charming,
Being around him felt like being at home,
He was my home just like she was his!
So, with this discovery, I lost my home again!
But, I did find it again and this time permanently,
When I found someone, I call bhaiya, I could share everything with,
When I loved my parents more and mother's lap was the safe place I always wished for!

We forget the limits,
We try being the best of ourselves when it comes to love,
We ask for it, we seek it from everyone around but when it comes to us, we forget to give it back equally,
We forget it's not abt being with someone for the best of their qualities,
We often forget, that it's not just about saying that we'll be there for each other
It's actually about being there,
It's actually about seeing what's bad about the person and still having enough strength to stand by them while they try to get over it,
It is about loving them for who they are and in the process growing together to be better versions of self,
It's not about fighting over little things and falling apart but it's about understanding each other enough and growing old together!
Love, a word so mistaken and so negatively showcased now,
Love, a word or rather a feeling so soothing and soul feeding that if not for love, everyone would have died already!
