Forged by the flames of love
Annealed by the water of loss
Grinded by heartache
Hardened by agony
Tempered by Life
Now I stand before you
A completed sword
UNRUSTABLE,
UNBENDABLE,
UNBREAKABLE.

If you could take a look in my notepad
You would find in it
The words I longed to say to you
You would find in it
The love I feel for you
You would find in it
Your perfection inscribed in my soul
You would find in it
The image of you in my mind
Only when you left
Did I find out.
How great I am at writing what I feel
How terrible I am at saying what I feel
How great I am at composing messages
How terrible I am at sending them

Who can mend a broken soul?
Who can't tame the monster caged beneath the smile?
Who can solve this puzzle of fractured misery I call a heart?
Perhaps it's my fate to wander around seeking that which cannot be found, that which I do not deserve

In that moment
When time stopped
And the world stood still
In that moment I met you

In that moment
When we sat
And I couldn't stop staring
In that moment I knew you

In that moment
When you spoke
And laughed
In that moment I fell for you

In that moment
When you looked at me
And smiled
In that moment I knew

In that moment
When we stood up to leave
And I looked at you
In that moment I knew that I loved you

It's not the pain that controls us but what we do to avoid it
Don't be afraid to break.
Break
Let your pain crack you open
Let your soul be forged in the fires of your agony
Embrace the entirety of your pain and you can finally understand yourself entirely

In the deep crevice of my soul
The little part of me that's unblemished
The small part that shines bright with a holy light
There plays a song
A song of love
A song of pain
A song of joy
A song of tears
A song of faith
A song of hope
That one day I forget all the pain of yesterday

Seeing your text today, I realize how much I've missed you, how incomplete I've been without you. My soul has always been missing something and today I finally figured what it is.
They say out of sight is out of mind but it didn't work, I didn't see you hoping I'll forget you and for a while I did and then you came back like a flood crashing through my walls and barricades, the words I wish I could've said, the hugs I withheld, the kisses I hoped to place on your forehead, everything I wish I could've done right, everything rushed back. Is this regret? I don't think so, this is just a love so deep it brings everything into focus.

Singing out with a loud voice the lyrics in your head

I saw a couple of children playing earlier today, looking at them play, I wished I could go back to:
A time when my soul wasn't scarred by the darkness of the world, when my heart was as blank as plain paper, when innocence oozed from every fibre of my being and I wasn't calculative and scheming. Back to the time when I was just a child.
The truth is all that is but a dream.

Being a man is about taking all that darkness and shaping it into something good. I realized that we aren't born men, we are born Male, we grow to become boys and then we grow into manhood. Even so, won't it be good to go back?

First time I set eyes on her
In a flay native gown she was looking impeccable
Ours eyes met and in that moment;
Everything fell into place
The world stood still

Her smile enchanted me
The twinkle in her eyes captivated me
Her eyes pulled me into their depths;
In them I relished

She looked into my soul and the darkness within,
She saw the worst of me and she stayed
She showed me the world wasn't full of hate
She took my hand and showed me that;
Whatever our souls are made of,
Hers and mine burn with the same light

She showed me to appreciate love,
not only as I see it but as other do too.
She taught me to love wholely
She saved in more ways than one.
