'वात्सल्य' कल यहां न होगा
नफरत का जमाना है ।

लोगों की जान ही तो जाएगी।

मरेगी इंसानियत तो क्या हुआ
तेरे हक़ में सियासत तो आयेगी।

यूं ही कभी शीशे में खुद को झांक लेता हूं।
अपनी परछाईं से मैं तन्हाई बांट लेता हूं।।
