Pouring life into my otherwise empty vessel

Silence helps at times
When the world is deaf
and when words doesn't suffice,
It cuts right through
This hubbub can always use one less blather
A fool proof panacea for the egocentric
For male egos as grotesque as a fungal mould
As large as a mountain
and as brittle as a fire fly wing
Just like a rudimentary organ
No use ; yet takes up unwanted space

May be a pair of blinkers too if you need
For the cynics deserve no heed

Upon fright of the raving obscene
Lie down to catch some breath

Nights felt good
Thats when i rest my cheeks which
felt frazzled from a hard days labour
Being sad felt strangely liberating
For eventides are forgiving and placating

As I gave wings to my troubles
and saw them took flight
I was dull; yet it felt right
As world felt kinder and had no spite

I sat numb and naked
under the shower
The world felt unusually incessant that day
Things that had to be done
Veils of different sorts
that had to be worn
Everybody seemed to be an achiever
Coping up well with their life's share

I looked at my breasts
Water droplets dripping on them
And there they were
My innumerable scars,
lines and all the other
graveyards of past miseries
I felt sorry for all of them
For the love and touch that they won't ever derive
Carefully I yanked all those plants of hope
that I so gingerly planted on top of them over the years

Don't wake them up you
They don't want to know
They are on their own now
As I looked up after hours of effort
and reached out for the next veil,
A stifled whimper was heard
They were hushed to sleep at once
"Nobody wants to know"
I whispered to myself

These are the words that found
their way through
The ones I managed to untangle
and arrange so as to make some sense
As if I managed to fish them out
from a pond of zillion words
Its all a buzz
Its all a hotchpotch
These few lucky ones
somehow found their way through
I'll ponder them for a while now
There might be more decisive ones there
The ones that are screaming
and shouting
But I choose to sit with these
The ones that found their way through
They feel less threatening now
I will place them in my lap
and sing them lullabies
I choose to seek sense in them
As I hear the clamouring
fade away
A ray of sunshine
found its way through
Giving birth to even more rays of hope

Ambivalence

Its strange how time flies-
when you are having fun,
And how it stops-
When you kiss the one

Time is an envious little boy
Babbling whilst pretending to be coy
Whining we are having fun without him,
It ran away in just a whim

Yet it can be a lovable parent
Ceasing itself before you both part
Letting you kiss and make art
Happily surrendering itself to love
Waiting in patience, and how!

A fervid one for that matter
Call me an aficionado
On you I won't spit any bitter

Call me dolt... Call me hoax
Still... hear me out, you swain of art
But I really can't find bad craft
True art can be defined by none infact

Will you spare me your time
And a bit of your youth
For I want to tell you the truth
I have only seen pretentiousness
Like inhaled air of someone's breath

For I always find new terrains
In every art where its master reigns
I ponder the way they once fought
Through every stroke and every spot

I'd rather be in the deepest of woods-
than be inside my own head...
For its not a safe place anymore...
I had a home yonder once...
All warm and welcoming...
when days were long and-
nights were short...
It was my favourite place to be...
When life used to breath hope...
Hopes..Hopes are sometimes deceiving
I hoped for my body and-
mind to be my own...
its the last place I want to be now...
Believe me when I say this...
I did have a small home built there...
When life used to breath hope...
Now I am in hope,
to find my hope back...
To be less homeless...
To be less hopeless....
