Well as a new age mom and first time mom you learn about your kid going through Growth leaps and teething and a hell lot of changes....
And because you are a new age mom you think you will handle this being calm and composed and without loosing it all....
So you decide not to give in...
But then that toddler who can't even clean his own shit drives you nut and when you thought that you would rock motherhood...
Motherhood rocks you.....
So finally when you manage to calm the strom which feels nothing less than a hurricane guess you indulge in a tub full of icecream....

So being a Mom I seldom take a minute or two.....
With a deep breath....
Wiping my own tears....
I go back to exactly what I thought I couldn't handle....
Be it a tantrum of a toddler refusing to eat or simply being clingy for no reason specially when there's something really important....

When they say life is the best teacher...
It might be true....
Because you care for someone out of courtesy...
You worry about them because that's your nature...
And they take you for granted for people who treat them like shit....
They take you for granted because in their so called world no one treats them good and when you do they don't know how to respond and hence end up leaving you heartbroken...
And you being the fool keep going in circles...

Contrary to that I would like to say...
I knew were trouble when you walked out...
I knew I had to fight it all alone...
I knew it's me vs the world....
And so this womens day I would like to that each and every one who never stood by me when I needed them...
Thank you coz all you did was made me strong....
Had me cross boundaries and made me realise my strength...
So thank you for walking away and making me do all alone....-

They Say you have changed...
Well guess what yes I did change...
Because now I am a mother....
There are a thousand errands running in my mind...
One after another
Task after task...
And then there is a little human who needs me 24*7 and then in between all this somehow when I am trying to keep it together you have the audacity to come and say may be if only you could also do this....
When you yourself cannot even switch off the lights once out of the washroom...can't clean up your mess...
Your clothes would be lying in the bathroom for until the end of eternity if I don't remove it from there...
And yet you have the audacity to say that someone in a totally different era did it better...
Well if you see from my point of view...
Meeting your child when it fits you isn't parenting....
Handing it over to others isn't parenting...
But yet who am I to know...
