Naam tumhara japna har din,
Or mera kuch kaam nahin.

Tum dhadkan mein, tum saanson mein,
Tum bin to aaram nahin.

Jag puchta hai tum kaun ho meri?
Is bandhan ka to koi naam nahin.

Kehte hain tum bin Rukmini Vallabh,
Kyunki Radhey ke bina to Shyam nahin..

Flowers are plucked;
To fit in the vase.
Will you admire me,
Even in the grass?

Searching through the shelves of;
Untouched books.
Came across the lingering;
Smell of yours.
That one odd book,
Made your memories;
Flow like a brook.
I found your traces;
In between the lines.
The touch of your fingertips,
Imprinted on those pages.
The smell of your breath,
Trapped between those cages.
How strange these pages;
Could hold so much.
The silent echo;
Of that vanished touch.
I closed the cover,
A sigh escaped unseen.
Wishing those moments;
Could have always been.
These ink and pages;
Breathed with you.
What I wished for;
But could not do.

Enter through my eyes,

See the times it ached,
When we were apart.

No words can truly express it,
As expression is an art.

Well, I'm not an artist,
And you're not one to admire art.

Aap puchte hain ke shayari kya hai?

Yeh zakhm hai ya saza hai?
Bin is ke sab be mazah hai.

Yeh chand sitaro'n ko zamee'n par le aati hai,
Yhi to zindagi ko zindagi banati hai.

Duniya mein bahar; isi se hai,
Lafzo'n mein nikhar; isi se hai.

Bechain dilo'n ko qarar; isi se hai,
Are! Mohabbat barqarar; isi se hai.

Kagaz, qalam ki zarurat kise?
Jab chand lafzo'n mein yeh;
Dil ke haalat keh deti hai.

Jo dil arso'n mein nahin keh pata,
Ek lamhe mein yeh woh baat keh deti hai...
