Wandering across lands, disarrayed and astray.
Lord, bless the Kuki-Zo like You did to Your people then.
Gather us, guide us, bring us together again.

Like animals we're hunted, taunted by the world's disdain,
Our voices silenced, our worth questioned, in pain.
With the little faith left on us, we cry out in despair.
Hear our plea, O Lord, come to our aid, be near.

We look to You, our hope, our shining light.
Illuminate our path, help us fight the fight.
Though scattered, we hold onto the belief,
That Your love will heal, bring us relief.

Lord, bless the Kuki-Zo, the scattered souls.
Whisper courage, instill in us divine goals,
For in unity, we shall overcome the strife,
And find solace in the blessings of eternal life.

i don't know now, what to do with it,
This life bestowed upon me,
i don't deserve it,
Yet i am grateful, You can see.

i bet it was not so easy,
How You brought me through all that safely.
i don't deserve it, this chance to thrive,
But thank You, Lord, for helping me survive.

i bet it is not so effortless
To mend my heart when i am a mess.
Yet, i am grateful for the journey's climb,
For every step's a testament divine.

So, here i am, with gratitude in my heart,
Knowing that it was You who played the part.
i may not fully comprehend the depths of Your grace,
But i'll cherish this life, in Your loving embrace.

Emotional cheating, a dagger in my heart,
Tearing us apart, tearing me apart.
The hurt, so raw, so hard to bear,
Leaving me broken, beyond repair.

But perhaps i'm fortunate, in some way,
That you left me for another's sway,
For now i see, it was with lie that we began,
And ended with the same deceitful plan.

Oh, 2023, you took it all away,
Leaving me with nothing but dismay.
i lost everything that i held dear,
Leaving me drowning in a sea of tears.

2023, the year is fading fast,
And i must bid you farewell at last.
But before you slip away, i want to say,
Thank you for all that came my way.

For the love, so sweet and true,
That made my heart skip and soar anew.
But with it came unhappiness, so deep,
A heaviness in my soul that i couldn't keep.

Betrayal followed, like a shadow cast,
Leaving wounds that seemed to forever last.
Lies entangled, like a web so tight,
Strangling trust, causing endless plight.

i hate you, 2023, for the pain you brought,
For the lessons learned, so brutally taught.
But in this bitterness, i hope to find,
The strength to forgive, to leave behind.

For someday, i wish to forgive you,
And in doing so, forgive myself too.
May we never cross paths again in life,
And find peace in the absence of strife.

So, farewell, 2023, as you come to an end,
i'll carry the scars, but also the strength to mend.
Thank you for teaching me life's trials and tests,
In this short, broken verse, i lay my unrest.

Chin-Kuki-Zo Front line Volunteers

The most awaited time of the years is here,
When joy and merriment should fill the air,
Yet, my brothers and my fathers are at the front lines,
Out in the cold, their sacrifice defines.

In bitter winter's grasp, they stand so bold,
Guarding our homeland, courageous and bold,
Their absence felt keenly in this festive cheer,
Their presence a void, their voices we long to hear.

The warmth of hearth and home we now embrace,
Is earned through their toil and their valiant chase,
For they protect us with unwavering might,
So we may celebrate this Christmas night.

Oh Lord, keep them safe, away from harm's way,
Shield them from darkness, bring them home one day.
