Oh heart,a labyrinth

Do you know who I am?
I belong to a clan of warriors
who battles with the crockeries to find their space
who has the ladder of success still as a puzzled maze
who still have their thundering voices
buried under the sheets
whose talent in cooking and poise in being
are the only approved grace
whose breasts and ass are only things for men to gaze
who has fossils of poisoned chauvinism rubbed all over her face
who still fights to come out true to her mirror reflections but fails
who wore the flower of silence for an eternity with all the grace
I belong to that clan of warriors
who just fell for a small bait;
they believed when men told them what they deserve
I belong to the clan of warriors

Dear heart,
swaying in this monologue thunder storm
anxiety is eating away my sane like a hungry fox,
With the last scrape of sanity
I am surrendering to this battle like an unarmed corpse
If you could anyday trace the haunting scars I trapped behind the bars
Pay me a visit in the graveyard of my inhibitions
but this time with a rose without thorns

And then,
Men celebrated her purity
When tears rolled down her eyes and blood between her thighs

When they asserted her touch was toxic
to spoil the pickle,
she doubted herself as though
she was turning into a witch on those days
when she was labelled unclean
and pushed to the corner of the room
with her opinions taking backseat
for her mood swings
with constant preaches to believe God
would never touch her impure soul
she was forced her to curse the elixir running
between her thighs for writing her story
in black and whites
she questioned every drop of her bleed
for turning disgust to the world
and dreamt of a day when magic
would turn her blood into gold,
for only she knew the beauty of her blood

In a parallel world,
We are strangers,
Playing the name guessing game inside our heads
Until we pronounce our swear words

A million years from now,
born was a star in the garden of lies
grown by men,
starved from the daylight
and fed with half baked plight
she travelled a million years
to find where she lost her voice
with no traces of past
she succumbed to defeat
writing away her destiny in the name of her master
who burnt her alive in his pyre after him
A million years later,
born was a star in the same garden of lies
grown by men,
where light touches her soul only in halves
serves her the same old half baked plight
she is no more burnt in his pyre
but crushed with her twisted rights
she travelled a million years
to find where she lost her voice
with no traces of past,
she moved a thousand mountains
to carve the way for her sisters behind
she roared her throat out,
until her scream shattered the mighty walls
so her daughter wouldn't ever think
where she lost her voice.

Everytime I meet you in that aisle
with your tag shouting
love for sale!
I barter our love
for words
Each time you are sold out
I coin a word for our love
Today,it is Absurd
I chew on a handful of pills
gulp it down with a whiskey shot
and pen down our absurd saga
to crumble them to trash
where it belongs
Until it wakes up for next
And finds it's home

When did I grow up so fast?
I don't remember,
The last evening,I fought with the kites and ran over chasing them to the sky
The last summer,I sipped on pulpy mangoes jumping across the branches high
The last day,I ran crying to my dad's lap when I broke my favourite toy
The last time,I wore smell of my hot milk moustaches to the evening cricket match
The last moment,I kissed my mom and shouted she is the best mom ever
The last shopping,I toggled off my favourite toys and ended up stocking them all
The last rain,I floated the paper boats in the names of my favourite superheroes
The last day,I held my chest wide in pride for working my ass off to earn my favourite candy
The last night I ran chasing the clouds and was stunned by the moon following by
The last term,I fought with my dad to paint my walls pink.
The last night,I defeated my sister over a pillow fight
The last holiday,I ran for butterflies and discovered my happiness in dragon flies
Why did I grow up so fast that I forgot to remember the lasts,
This search for my lasts will continue until my last.

Will you turn me into wax and pour me in your favourite mould?
So I could caress you in the darkness and spare you some glow
Will you pick me up right and sew me into a chime?
So I could dance away all our windstorm blow
Would you bite me with the lust and turn me into a sexpot?
So I could romance you in dreams and feel you the whole
Will you nurse me the fuel to touch the sky high and swim with the stars by?
So I could hold you up when you conquer the dark and bring me a light home
Or
Would you rather plug me into a lovebug and safelock in the vows?
So that I could make you all my tomorrow's and home you in my now's
