Philosophy of Eid_ul_adha ?
Prophet Abraham (pbuh) made a sacrifice on Eid_ul_adha. This sacrifice is a symbol for the faithful people who want to tread the path of truth ٫ transcendence and perfection. This is impossible without a sacrifice . In fact ٫ all the tests that we go through involves a sacrifice . Sometimes this involves sacrificing your life ٫ wealth ٫ your dear ones or even forgiving an unfair criticism . Being tested means going through hardships . This is what a test is. Allah does not put us through divine tests in order to get to know us . Divine tests are in fact a step towards one's destination.

لاکھ چہرہ سہی چاند جیسا
دل کے کالوں سے اللّٰہ بچائے۔

Sab kuch badal jata hai
Umar badhne ke sath sath
Pehle zid kiya karte thy
Ab sabar kiya karte hai.

Zindagi ma jab bhi ap tutne lage to sabar rakhna !
Kyunki nikharta wahi hai jo phle bikharta hai.

Sab kuch khatam hojata hai

Buhat socha ٫ buhat dekha aur buhat azmaya bhi
