In fog and mist at the edge of dawn
As night blooms blissfully blend
In petrichor and morning fawn
Thoughts arouse…the glimmer of night
Dew shimmer on petals pink and white
Beatification of orb with dawning sunrise
First glimpse is really worth it’s price
Sea of gold cocooned by azure dome
Take a moment for your thoughts to roam
Chaperoned by gentle breeze caressing the soul
Let heart seek it’s path and role
Sequentially…logically thoughts rise and brew
A heart seeks a pearl by diving deep n through!!!

Deferred Dreams

Dreams deferred
do not die
Stealing breaths
they tacitly survive
Frisking tricks
Keeps heart and mind
at strife
Or hover around
no peace to be found
To soul eternally
entwined and bound
As hushed whispers
sans sound
Still echoing aloud
in solitary moments
As never buried
too deep in ground…

OR

Often sparkly
as fireflies
These deferred dreams
keeps innocence alive
As autumnal leaves
their aura survives
Though rustic ambers
yet glimmer revives
As shadows
amidst sunny rays
Like rainbows
post rainy days
These fantasies and reveries
shape kaleidoscopic lives

And found rainbows swathed astray!!

Subtle apricity of winter breeze feels so divine
Sun hazy on sky’s crease, set to call off the day
Twilight unveils a glittery sheet alongside Moon’s silvery rays!

Shooting Stars

Awaiting moon in mystic twilight
Swarovski studded, dazzling night
Ambrosial jasmine’s enchanting spells
Dizzying heart, felt feathery light

Perched on earth facing the sky
Dreaming, dozing, awakening high
Sparkles and glitters, no ivory glow
My cosmic pearl, hmmm…still ‘no show’

Sifting greens and barren boughs
Not on silver loch or rippling billows
Not a cloud to offer a shroud
“Quit playing games”…I whispered aloud

Rustling leaves in murmuring breeze
Swiftly fostering a momentous freeze
Heavens alight with ‘Shooting Stars’
A twinkly note…”I am afar”
In it’s way, all turned alright
He sent sky-full of diamonds tonight

Dreamers perpetually lie
Untwining...the plexus of incessantly entangled dreams
To reality, they hitch to comply
Unraveled truth...in the light of the day
Their hearts do not receive or perceive
In reveries they bloom as a bud in sunny ray
Away from reality they blissfully fantasize
Facts of life aren’t festooned as dreams
So they fit the fabric of truth and sew it to size
Dreamers are weavers, they braid truth and lies
Embellish it with stardust to concoct a tale
Violins strumming in shimmering phosphenes
Enticingly beguiling to ears and eyes!!

ये पलकें झुकी रहें तो अच्छा है
उठके रुकी तो राज खुलेंगे
दिल की गहराइयों में भँवर उठेंगे
न जाने कितने दिन टूटेंगे
ये पलकें झुकी रहें तो अच्छा है

दिल की गिरह में धड़कता नाम
वो छुपा रहे हैं तो अच्छा है
ख़ुशबू बन जो बिखर गया तो
जग की रस्में-कसमें टूटेंगी
ये पलकें झुकी रहें तो अच्छा है

आँखों में बसे राज़ आँखें पढ़ लेंगी
तन्हाइयों के पल साँझे कर लेंगे
ज़िंदगी फ़र्ज़ से मुँह मोड़ने को
ज़िद्द पकड़ लेगी
ऐसे पल फिसल जाए तो अच्छा है
ये पलकें झुकी रहें तो अच्छा है

दर्द मोती बन छलक ना जाए
बिन शब्द अफ़साने न बन जाए
दिल तो सच्चा है, पर जब फ़रेबी
प्यार दफ़्न ही रह जाए तो अच्छा है
ये पलकें झुकी रहें तो अच्छा है
