There we were, sitting in an empty, dark room with cold floor, or maybe it was an elevator, though it wasn't going up.
It was just you and me, sitting opposite to a painting we couldn't see.
We would hear the explosions outside. The whole was burning, dying.
Me and you, who met, then and there, shared our deepest secrets and darkest desires.
When the light flickered,
we would see the door,
but we didn't want to leave.
Why would we?
We just stayed there, in that everlasting moment.
Talking, comforting, cherishing.-
Burn my wings,
and I'll still breath fire.
Let's see who wins,
the dragon in me,
or the phoenix in me.-
There I am waking up to the same dream again.
Everyday, for a hundred days.
A dream of swimming through the ocean,
and falling asleep while doing it.
Hallucinating, stars shining, pulling me down.
And then there's my breath,
I am losing it.
I can see bubbles capturing the stars.
Bubbles everywhere,
and just when I am about to hit the bed,
I wake up.
Drowning and awake.
I wake up to the same dream again.-
Some people they were,
controlled my emotions.
Some emotions they were,
controlled my words.
Some words they were,
left unsaid.
Perhaps everything comes to an end, with silence.
-
You can never not find
some lines
that leave your heart untouched.
There is always someone,
with unfulfilled desires, and
a sleepless mind,
who writes, to find you.-
I would fly
so close to the sun,
they would burn
to ashes.
So when I fall,
I fall like a phoenix.-
He died for her,
time and time again,
he chose himself and not her,
to die,
to drown in agony,
and not because he loved her,
no, he did not,
and not because her life was
more important,
No! It wasn't to him.
He just didn't have it in him,
to live with her death.-
