At times, my body sticks to the bed even when the ding-dong sound pierces through my ears;
Sometimes my eyes seem to love to stay shut than they want to be awake.š“
I could never have thought that this was just me being lazy,
Until I looked at my calendar and saw how much work is left to do.ā % &-

You've entrenched your name in my heart.
It's only that the exposed part of you has become a bait for me to question what's hidden.

I remember who I am now and
Who loves me the most.
This identity I have in Christ excites me more than I can think.š

I came to let you know that as long as you aim for the best, I'll stand by you till the end.
So even when the weather isn't clement,
I'll still make you smile and be happy.š-
There's a time in life when our cravings are sincere yet absurd,
A time when our desires are real yet surreal.
At such a time, we've been told to suppress our desires, our feelings, our thoughts;
To let slip by what seems to be consuming us.
We soliloquize to ease off the weight,
We grief in our shells because we don't want to reveal our weakness.
We want to be strong for others even at our own expense.
Then at that point, the still voice speaks:
Cast your cares upon me,
I'll surely give you rest and an expected end.
-
I see the peace and quiet in your heart,
I see the shadows of love you try to hide,
I see the you that'll be if I were fine.
Somehow, there's always one person,
Whose silence we read fluently,
Whose gestures we can always explain.
There's always one person who we know in and out even when they never said a word to us for years.
THIS IS JUST BEING HUMAN!š-
Because I've discovered who I am.
I now have an identity in the One who formed me.šÆ-
Dear Lady,
No man can make you complete,
No possession can, either.
So today,
Cease from parading the streets in search of someone who would love you extraordinarily.
Stay in your closet.
Study the word.
Pray to your Abba.
Fellowship with the Holy Spirit;
And you'll start seeing yourself as God sees you.
Then and only then, would you enjoy the real life-
The kind that'll make you stand out.š-
Sometimes, saying farewell is a difficult task;
But we just have to say it anyway,
Because at some points, it appears to be the safest thing to do.
Gluttony,
Hyperphagia,
Waking up late,
Talkativeness,
Loquaciousness,
And many more like them,
need be put away.
You better tell them goodbye,
Or you let them cast you down.-
