Winter line the rare optical phenomenon only seen in few places in earth,
Switzerland and Mussoorie(Uttarakhand) are the two places where it is observed. This is Caused due to refraction and temperature difference between layers of air. This beautiful winterline can be seen mid-October to January, at sunset, as the sun drops behind a false horizon creating a grey and mauve strip.
