Sweet sixteen,
The eyes are full of with dreams.
But one decision,
Makes everything daydream.
The elders I thought,
They are my life saviour,
But when told me to marry,
And the judgement is my dream graver.
The frustrations, tears and prayer,
Having no value.
I just wish it's to be a hallucinations,
And there to be a button "Undo".

Today, I'm a year older, wiser and stronger. Thank you God for letting me enjoy one more year. Thank you so much for listening my prayers every time.

Today, I promise myself that I won't harm myself at any cost. I won't be a coward who runs away from the battlefield called 'Life'. I will always fight till the end. I won't be standing like an idiot who is helpless.

And to my guide, my well wishers, my friends, my siblings, my family and of course my parents , thank you so much for your love and blessings you showered on me these years. Can't ask for more. Be my strength forever.

It's her sixteenth birthday after three days. Her brother lives in another city for work. He called her and asked, ''What do you want for your sweet sixteen?''
She said, ''You know what I want.''
''Yes, I will try.'', said he.
Two days passed. She thought she will get what she actually wants as a surprise.
She received a call from her brother at 12a.m. He wished her. She was thinking that he will ask her to open the door, so she was waiting there and said, ''Enough bro, I know you are somewhere near. I know it's a surprise.'' She smiled.
He said in a soft voice, ''I am sorry sis. It's not a surprise. I can't come.''
She could not believe her ears but said in a cheerful voice, ''It's okay. I understand.''
But he could feel that though she was hurt because of her expectations, she was tearful at the moment. It was her first birthday without her brother.
