Before you proceed, I've a word of caution, this is strictly based on my personal observation and I only have myself, in probably the smallest sample size of all time, to back my claim. So here it goes -

You shouldn't put stoploss while doing intraday trades, especially when the market is very bearish with additional baggage of extreme volatility. This sounds crazy, doesn't it? Please bear with me, just hear me out before passing any judgement.

What I've noticed from the limited experience I've in the market that, these highly sophisticated AI-driven softwares are actually able to track the range of the stoplosses of any stock or the indices for that matter. So when the market is bearish, bears take an advantage of this and bring the concerned stock/market down to that stoploss zone and by the time they cover their short positions you'll already have incurred losses. So technically, you provided the data that these machine-run softwares and bears need! While they make profits from your mistake, you blame your luck and the stock/market. Sounds logical now, doesn't it?

The most important rule you learn after making losses...
Be it share market or relationships with humans, either you make short term trades or long term investments, always set and stick to "the stop loss"!
Once the stop loss triggers, just book the minimal loss and exit. Never be too hopeful!
