She walks on the same road we do,
Daybreak soaks all in the same rays,
She too got scars and scorch marks,
It's the same blithe autumn leaves
that finds its way to her lap,
She is just another lady, moon is envious of.

But,
She eyes life in a different way.
If you failed to fathom the scattered smiles,
If you missed the whiff of broken bliss,
You could always be sure,
Someone was there, relishing, everything.
And, it's her.

That day in the chapel
As the kind eyed uncle went down on one knee
And asked me if I would let him be my new daddy
Not only did I get a second father
I got my Mommy's smile back.

பார்வையில் பொறி
வார்த்தையில் வெறி
அச்சம் அண்டாத அகராதி!

கவிதைக் கனலில்
வீழ்ந்தாலும் முளைத்திடும் விதையை விதைத்து
நீ வீழ்கையில் மட்டும்
எழாமல் போனது எப்படியோ?

உன்
பாட்டுக்கள் பாதைக்காட்டும்
அதன் பொருள் நெஞ்சில் கல்வெட்டுகளாக.....
நின் காதல் கவிதைகளில்
கரைந்த கண்ணம்மாக்கள் தான் எத்தனை!

நீ
இக்காலத்தில் இருந்திருந்தால்
மனித உருவில் நடமாடும் அரக்கர்களை
வார்த்தை எனும் வாளால் வெட்டியிருப்பாய்....
சுடர் விடும் அறிவுடன் உனை படைத்த சிவ சக்தி
விரைவில் அணைத்ததும் ஏனோ?

நீ
துரிதமாய்த் தொடங்கி
சிகரத்தை அடைந்து
சட்டென அடங்கிபோனாய்.....
"வாழ்ந்தது குறைவு
சாதித்தது நிறைவு"
என்றாலே உனை அல்லாது
வேறு யார்?

முண்டாசுக் கவி
சிந்தனை தீ
பாரதி.......

நூறு வருடங்கள் வாழ்வதா இலக்கு?
இல்லை
உன்னைப்போல் மாள்வதே சிறப்பு?
