The bird lovingly calls its partner to the nest,

I was known as a girl to a woman.
Yes! A woman, I have became!

Last year, this day,
I came to know whom I belong to.
Yes! Its the burgundy colour of mine.

Last year, this day,
Under the limitless cloud, I spread my wings.
Yes, I gave freedom to my biological child inside me!

Last year, this day,
I had collywobbles to know about menstruation every months.
Yes, I am strong enough to feel the happiness.

Last year, this day,
My mother gifted me a packet of pads.
Yes, my sister too congratulated me of my first period!
