If there's anyone who keeps me going, no matter how ecstatic or traumatised I'm, it's my most beloved boy, Pranav.
When I make his favorite cheese sandwiches, he's the first one to say they're the best. When I make cabbage curry, something he's grown abhorring, he gobbles it up without the slightest frown. His blue eyes gleam with pride, with every copy of mine that sells. He's the first one to notice and ask me to reason out every chuckle and tear drop. He eagerly looks up into the balcony for me to remind him to duck into helmet, wish him a great day and wave him off to school. He has no qualms switching over to anything life has to offer. He breathes optimism, in and out. He's simply the synonym of honesty.
I don't give a damn if he does a little less well
at academics, but all I wish for is, his
virtues remain untouched by the cold winds.
I'd like to imbibe his priceless possessions,
one virtue at a time.
Deep down, I know, it'd take
a lifetime and,
I wouldn't acquire half.-

I used to wander through lush green lanes of DRDO for an hour or two with a baby clinging to my waist
-for that was how I'd get him nibble on an apple.
I used to dart through exit dragging a toddler by his hand at sharp 5'O clock every evening to a park in the neighbourhood
- for that was how I planned to get him rid of his fear of rides.
These days, I forsake casual gossip with a friend over a cup of tea so I can be a vigorous teen's opponent at the Badminton club.
Today, while signing off when he says, "My amma is the best!",
a few drops escape my eyes wondering if this innocence lasts forever or the most infamous boys' question,"What have you done for me, amma?" is reserved for adulthood.

take a bath
read a book
cook something yum
take a breather
watch a show
......
but here i end up sleeping!
how life changes for the better and more beautiful experiences.
it teaches you to learn to
make the best of your time.

Happy to be one of those beauties
As they See me tired , dull with those dirt of my dress , hiding my stress , running all day ,from Waking Sun to sleeping after moon .
Just for their one smile
Without expectations
Every mother is a Ugly beauty for sure-
My kids believe my kisses
heal their bruises.
I wonder if they know
their hugs heal my heart.
My kisses are their comfort,
their presence is my miracle.
They think my magic touch
erases the pain,
but their small hands
holding mine
rebuild my inner strength
They come to me with tears
and leave with smiles,
unaware they've carried away
a piece of my weariness
