I respect this author a lot
Like others
I too fell into this trap
Pratoganist is the shadow of his own self
Well literally
His wife dies in a gross and embarrassing way
He roams the world
Meets a charismatic guy named Wednesday
New gods like technology and media are ruling
Wednesday plans to reinvigorate old gods
To bring back old influence
Shadow doesn't understand a leaf
About this new world
Can't connect with the lead nor the villian
Great book ruined by this unbelievably weird
Yet boring series
Gross at times
But nothing more

- Neil Gaiman, M is for Magic

Being brave means you are scared,
And you do the right thing anyway."

“Grown-ups don’t look like grown-ups on the inside either. Outside, they’re big and thoughtless and they always know what they are doing. Inside, they look just like they always have. Like they did when they were your age. Truth is, there aren’t any grown-ups. Not one in this world.

- Neil Gaiman, The Ocean at the End of the Lane
