Sunset is a nice time
to turn on the lights
But how will you turn on the lights
If you don't know if the sun has set?
You assume it's dark inside
because of the blinds
and you assume it'll be bright
whenever you're ready for daylight.
So you lie in the dark behind
the thick blinds until you see
the darkness has grown dense
and you draw the blinds
to a night sky. You missed the sunset
and there is no transition for you.
You turn on the lights
and go about your day
disoriented to hours,
moments, only trying to imagine
how you arrived at this time of the day.

Ballet moves on lonely streets,
I am dancing with
your vibe's hymn and beats.
Tiptoed, hands in the air.
Twisting, turning, Synchronizing
with your nearly impalpable pair.
Memories tonight took their
black and white physique.
So ludic and vivacious
even my demons have
started to feel nostalgic.
