Sometimes I write
Not for pleasure
But out of fear
For the monster
Who writhes under my skin
Sits on the throne of my
Cloud of poetic mind
With a whip, poking me always
With a rusted iron nib,
And when I lay rested
Nothing to share in moments,
It whips my mind
Mercilessly, unapologetically,
So that I bleed words
Profusely onto the paper,
And fulfil his torturous addiction.

To defeat a monster
chasm thou dive
devour on vehemence
frailty thou thrive...
Hush! and tiptoe
caustic flay strive
unsheathe thou words
lacerate him alive...

I've monsters howling
and grunting inside of
my head, I've caged them
since years only to become
more stronger with the passing time,they've already scratched and tore me open from inside,leaving
me numb and clotted at times
i don't see the skull strong enough
to hold them any longer!

I am scared of monsters, but those aren’t the ones under my bed;
I am scared of monsters, of the one’s that live inside my head!
I sometimes wish I could just ask for help;
But who can save me from the deadliest monster, that is me myself!
I know people who care, I know people who will always stay;
But the monster in me just keeps them away!
Darling, I want you close to me always, I want you really near;
But I won’t tell you that losing you is my strongest fear!
I am not too strong to accept everything & say;
So if you ask me how am I doing, I’ll just say, I’m doing okay!
I have tried living my life in shadows,
away from the people & away from this foe;
But just like my woes, these monsters follow me wherever I go!
I have tried saving myself from them, I swear, I made it a goal;
But as I find I am winning over, I lose all my control!
Stay away from me coz I never know what I can do
to hurt you as I’ve become as cold as ice;
Stay away from me coz even though I will feel sorry,
the monster in me will never apologise!
I am trying to fight a monster in me,
that is really powerful & will never set me free;
How can I win a fight against him
when the most deadliest monster is ME!

I fear no monsters,
for no monsters I see.
Because all this time
the monster has been me.

I am Normally a person with A lots of
Patience.
But don't the monster inside me......

As a child I use to fear the thought of monsters under my bed
Now thoughts turned out to be monsters, that scream inside my head
