As you complete 6 months today,
It is already your half birthday,
We have so much fun these days,

Your fever,
Gave me a shiver,
But the time we spent together,
Made it better weather!

You tasted your first solids this month,
You were excited to open your mouth even to an empty spoon,
Though you never liked the sweetest apples,
You loved the tasteless rice kanji.

You are making so many silly sounds,
You love your time alone to experiment,
Though you have new teethers,
All you love to munch on is your first toy!

Your big brother tells you stories everyday,
He makes sure I tell them again every night,
He has toys separately for you already,
He is the one waiting for you to grow.

Your first visit to the beach happened this month,
Your dad loved to carry you in the carrier,
As you slept on his chest,
He held your head and walked at rest,
I felt very blessed.
