मेरे लिए संगीत सुखों का आवास है,
मधुर से स्वर इसके मानो शहद सा मिठास है
धूप में तपते मुसाफिर को पेड़ की ठंडी छांव है,
खोए हुए राही के लिए एक अपना सा गांव है

आंखो से बहती ज्वाला को
अपनी आवाज से शीतल कर जाए,
दीवानों का तो फिर कहना ही क्या
उनके टूटे दिल पर मरहम सा लगाए
जब किसी भी बात से दिल परेशान हो जाता,
संगीत ही तो सुकून कि नींद है लाता
खास दोस्त की तरह हमेशा साथ रहता है,
बिन कुछ कहे भी सबकुछ कहता है

मां की लोरी सी है संगीत,
मीठी सी आवाज संग में सुरों की प्रीत
जब कोई अपना ये गाकर सुनाता है,
दर्द सारा यूंही संवर जाता है
और चेहरे पे जो हल्की सी मुस्कान आती है,
मानो ज़िन्दगी भी कुछ नया गीत गुनगुनाती है ।

you just have to
reciprocate patiently.

In the dark of the night
When the stars
And the moon
Will glimmer in the black
We will not be blank
But, full of love songs
Shrouding us by the moonlit trance.

I still play the music of our memories
on every musical instruments
My feelings dance with the rhythm
And my heart sings the melodies
of reliving those precious memories.

Life taught me a lot
And now that I lost
My faith on heaven,
Until it's proven
I ought to live this life
With no regret or strife...
