"Kenji, you have to stand up, now!" Matt screamed in his brother's ear and gripped his arms.

Kenji shook his head, dizzy and weakened. His body refused to take another step. "Just - just go," he whispered, breathless. "I'm slowing you down. Go!"

Matt shook his head, glaring at him with eyes that looked too similar to their father's. "Kenji Saitou, I am not leaving you! If you can't move, then I'll carry you!"

Kenji protested but was too weak to fight his brother off as Matt slung him over his shoulder and took off jogging. Matt had been an American soldier so Kenji shouldn't have been surprised.

That was before the they had been thrust into a world of magic, dragons, hidden worlds, secrets and...

They had sacrificed themselves to kill it. Only it wasn't dead. And neither were they.

This desolate world around them kept it trapped and them with it and because of Kenji, it would catch Matt too.

Kenji used what little strength he had left to hurl himself from Matt's back, landing smoothly on his feet in front of the massive, black beast in front of him.
