They were true warriors who had faced bullets on their chests and sacrificed their lives on that bloody massacre of Jallianwala bagh so that we could take breath of freedom. They are equally entitled as martyrs and that have inscribed on the board of our heart.

इंसानियत भी शर्मशार हुई थी,
अंग्रेजों की क्रूरता-बर्बंरता पर,
जनरल डायर नही वो कायर था,
निहत्थों पर गोलियाँ चलाने वाला,
रक्त-रंजीत बैसखी का काला दिन,
अत्याचार की गाथा का इबारत था,
नमन उन गुमनाम वीर शहीदों को,
जो कुर्बान हो गए मातृभूमि के लिए।

जलियां वाले बाग में भी चली थी खून की होलियां,
जब जनरल डायर ने मारी थी,
मासूमों को गोलियां....
गूंज रही थी हर दीवार,
तब इंकलाब के नारे से.........
पूरा भारत सहम उठा था,
डायर के अत्याचारों से.......
क्या बच्चे,क्या बूढ़े ,क्या महिलाएं दीवानी थी,
जब डायर नें थी लिखी,
एक खूनी कहानी थी........
उन बेगुनाहों की लाशों को देख,
भगत सिंह ने भी ठानी थी..........
इन अंग्रेजों से हिंदुस्तान को,
अब दिलानी आजादी थी.......
13 अप्रैल की वह बैशाखी,
आज भी सबको याद है......
जलियांवाला बाग की वो अमर ज्योति,
अब एक सौगात है,
अब एक सौगात है.........

When evil happenings were the only construction.
Truth being concocted,
Violence unwanted.
It was the time of celebration,
Baisakhi was around the corner.
The crowd had gathered to celebrate,
Hardly thought of Dyer's intent.
Mass firing at the place,
It all proved we were such slaves.
History is full of such sacrifices,
Where innocence gets killed by malpractices.

Remember all those braveheart is the responsibility of each Indian and give respect towards the people who sacrificed their lives there. Tribute to those martyrs whose memories continue to spire generations of India.
